At Kad Kokoa, we’ve always believed that great chocolate doesn’t have to come from Switzerland. It can — and should — come from Thailand. From the start, our mission has been to craft bean-to-bar chocolate using only Thai cacao, and to show the world what Thai soil and farmers are capable of. Along that journey, we met Khun Q, the founder of Four Rivers — a cacao estate built by him and his father with a bold vision: to become the leading cacao collective in Northern Thailand.
What brings us together isn’t business. It’s purpose. Today, we work side by side, sourcing fair-trade cacao from over 200 farming families, buying more than one ton of beans each month. Together, we’re building something bigger — not just better chocolate, but a better future for Thai cacao.
It started the way many good things do — with a problem we both cared deeply about. We sat down and talked about the challenges facing Thai cacao farmers: inconsistent quality, lack of support, and limited recognition on the world stage. As we spoke, we saw just how closely our goals were aligned.

Today, our partnership has grown to cover the entire Northern region — across the lands where the four rivers flow. From rich terroirs in the high mountains, nourished by spring water, rain, and sun, we work hand in hand with cacao growers at the source. Together, we’ve built a fully connected chain: from upstream with over 200 farming families, to midstream with processing, fermentation, and research, and downstream to the market and consumers — with Kad Kokoa in Bangkok at the heart. Just like the four rivers, Ping, Wang, Yom and Nan that come together to form the Chao Phraya, our journey flows into one purpose: to make Thai cacao truly known and valued.

ที่ Kad Kokoa เราเชื่อมาโดยตลอดว่า ช็อกโกแลตดี ๆ ไม่จำเป็นต้องมาจากสวิตเซอร์แลนด์ เพราะเราเชื่อว่าประเทศไทยเองก็สามารถเป็นแหล่งผลิตช็อกโกแลตคุณภาพได้เช่นกัน — และ ควรจะเป็นด้วย ตั้งแต่เริ่มต้น ภารกิจของเราคือการทำช็อกโกแลตแบบ bean-to-bar โดยใช้เฉพาะโกโก้ที่ปลูกในไทย พร้อมกับส่งต่อเรื่องราวของผืนดินไทยและความตั้งใจของเกษตรกรไทยให้เป็นที่รู้จักในระดับโลก ระหว่างการเดินทางในเส้นทางนี้ เราได้พบกับ “คุณคิว” ผู้ก่อตั้ง Four Rivers — ไร่โกโก้ที่เกิดจากความตั้งใจของเขาและคุณพ่อ ที่มีวิสัยทัศน์ร่วมกันในการสร้างเครือข่ายโกโก้ที่แข็งแกร่งที่สุดในภาคเหนือของประเทศไทย
